Alligator Ridge ( German Alligator rücken ) is an impressively jagged mountain range in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It extends from Alligator Peak in the Boomerang Range of the Transantarctic Mountains in a north-easterly direction over a length of 3 km to the Skelton Firnfield .
It was mapped and named by the New Zealand crew of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958).
