All-Russian Industry and Craft Exhibition 1896
The All-Russian Exhibition of Industry and Crafts in 1896 took place in the fair city of Nizhny Novgorod .
It was the first time that the All-Russian Exhibition was held in a provincial city, before it was held in St. Petersburg, Moscow or Warsaw. It lasted from May 28th July. / June 9th, Greg. until October 1st jul. / October 13, 1896 greg. . 9700 exhibitors took part.
In addition to various construction works by the engineer Vladimir Schuchow , the first Russian automobile from the Jakowlew & Frese company was on display.
