Almops
Almops ( Greek Ἄλμωψς Almōps ) was in Greek mythology a giant and son of the sea god Poseidon and Hellē . He was the brother of Paiōn (or Edonus ).
According to tradition, the name of the Macedonian landscape Almopia and its inhabitants, the Almopen, is derived from the name Almops .
