Alois Bissig

Alois Bissig (* 1956 in Wolfenschiessen ) is a Swiss lawyer and politician ( CVP ). From 2010 to 2014 he was a member of the government of the Canton of Nidwalden . He headed the Justice and Security Directorate and deputy the Economics Directorate and was state governor of the canton of Nidwalden in the 2013/2014 year of office .

Bissig was secretary and clerk at the federal court for six years and from 1989 Nidwalden interrogator. He also presided over the Roman Catholic regional church in Nidwalden.

Alois Bissig is married, has two children and lives in Ennetbürgen .
