Alona Harpaz

Alona Harpaz (* 1971 in Israel ) is an artist who lives and works in Berlin.

Life

Harpaz attended Wizo France - Photography Department High School in Tel Aviv from 1985 to 1989 , The Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem from 1991 to 1993 , the International Center of Photography in New York City from 1993 to 1995, and BA from 1995 to 1999 Hamidrasha, The Art Teacher's Training College in Ramat Hasha .

Alona Harpaz is a founding member of the Infinite Earth project , a project group that sells works of art and donates the proceeds to good causes.

Alona Harpaz has focused on painting in her artistic expression for many years. Her flower pictures have been exhibited many times. In recent years the artist has also discovered the field of video art for herself and was able to gain a lot of attention with her first work, the SALT trilogy.

Harpaz has shown her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in established museums and institutions such as the  Martin-Gropius-Bau  in Berlin, the Israel Museum of Art in Jerusalem , the  Tel Aviv Museum of Art , The Haifa Museum of Art in Haifa , Ancient & Modern in London and many others. Her work has been shown at the 2nd  Prague Biennale , the Femme de la Bible and art fairs such as Art Fair Tokyo 2015 and others.
