Aloys Maier
Aloys Maximus Josef Christoph Maier (born March 16, 1782 in Fulda ; † April 13, 1851 ibid) was district administrator or district administrator of the Hünfeld district from 1821 to 1851 .
Aloys Maier was the son of the senator, consul, city councilor and mayor of Fulda, Georg Anton Maier. After studying law , he entered the civil service. He was auditor and regimental quartermaster in 1818/19 and garrison auditor of the Fulda garrison in 1820/21 .
On September 19, 1821 he was appointed to the first district council of the Hünfeld district. The name was changed to District Administrator in 1834. He stayed there until his death in 1851.
