Alpan Sagsöz

Alpan Sagsöz (born January 15, 1973 in Wipperfürth ) is a German novelist.

Sagsöz is a son of Turkish immigrants. He grew up in his place of birth and completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk before studying law. Today he works as a lawyer. Sagsöz lives in Cologne. Since 2007 he has been writing stories mainly with an intercultural background. His first novel was published in 2009 with The Black Cat of Constantinople . In 2012 his youth novel Turkey Rally followed (2012). With both works he was invited to readings at the intercultural literature festival Literaturk . In 2015 the novel When we dragonflies were published as an e-book.
