The Alpine Astrovillage Lü-Stailas was a center for astrophotography and sky observation in Val Müstair in the Swiss canton of Graubünden until December 1, 2019 . It was founded by Vaclav and Jitka Ourednik in the International Year of Astronomy 2009 . "Lü-Stailas" stands for "Light of the Stars" in the Rhaeto-Romanic language of the canton.

The center was located in the high alpine UNESCO biosphere reserve "Val Müstair - Swiss National Park " in the eastern Swiss Alps at 2000 m. ü. M. in a region with good sky quality and minimal light pollution . The very fog-free Val Müstair with a dry and windless microclimate on the terrace near Lü, with an average of 250 sunny days and 130–150 cloudless nights, offers particularly favorable conditions for observing the sky.

Since 2011, the center has had the title of an experience pearl of the canton of Graubünden .

Courses in astrophotography and sky observation were held . In cooperation with schools, AAV also offered the opportunity to carry out the practical part of Matura projects and seminar papers . AAV also organized and led astrophotographic trips to the darkest places on earth, visiting well-known and large professional observatories .

A successor was opened in Luzein under the same name "Alpine Astrovillage" and run by the same operator .
