Alpine Junior European Ski Championships
The Alpine Junior European Ski Championships were a sporting event in which the junior European champions were determined in various races in the Alpine skiing disciplines of downhill , giant slalom and slalom . The Junior European Championships were held annually from 1972 to 1981, with the exception of 1978, and replaced in 1982 by the Junior World Championships . The organizer was the International Ski Federation FIS . At the last event in 1981, in addition to the individual races, there was an official combination classification for the first time , as was later also the case at the Junior World Championships. Skiers between the ages of 15 and 20 were eligible to participate.
