The Alster Canoe Club e. V. , based in Hamburg, is a German canoe club .
The association was founded on May 23, 1905 after Hamburg merchants brought the first examples of new boats from North America. The ACC was the initiator and in 1914, together with the Canoe Club Alsterbrüder, co-founded the German Canoe Association (DKV). With Alfred Korn he also provided the first president of the DKV.
The club name contains the English spelling Canoe , as the German name Kanu was not yet established at the time it was founded.
