Alstom journalist award
The Alstom Journalist Prize was awarded annually from 2002 to 2009 and honored exceptional journalistic achievements and contributions that deal with the economic , social , ecological , technical or scientific importance of energy and its generation, transmission and use.
The prize was awarded by the "ALSTOM Journalist Prize" foundation. The donor of the award was Alstom (Schweiz) AG , an energy and transport company. Alstom did not have a seat on the jury. The jury was made up of personalities from journalism, science, business and politics . Up to ninety journalistic works from Switzerland were assessed annually. The prize money was 25,000 francs and could be divided between one or more award winners.
