Old Schwake distillery
The old distillery Schwake in Ennigerloh is a former schnapps distillery .
Due to the well-preserved structure, the building was converted in the 1980s for its current purpose and supplemented with a residential building. Only in the lobby today remember for a Destillierbatterie and transmission shafts and wheels to the former use.
Today there are two cinemas with a small projection room on the second floor of the former distillery . Furthermore, the old distillery is now a regional cultural and meeting center. The building has a cabaret for theater and cabaret performances . It also serves as an exhibition space, for example for art exhibitions .
The Ennigerloher Dichtungsring ( poetry slam ) has been held here every year since 2003 , a competition for words for all hobbyists from the region.
