The old synagogue in Bad Nauheim , the second largest city in the Wetterau district in Hesse , was built in 1867. The synagogue was at Alicestrasse 12.

It was built in a mixture of classical , Romanesque and Moorish forms. The synagogue offered space for 50 men and 40 women.

After the new synagogue was built in 1929, the old synagogue was sold and demolished.
