The village used to consist of only a few farms, today there are some settlements here that are still being expanded. In the ten years alone between 2001, when the population census found 105 inhabitants for Altendorf, and 2011, the number of inhabitants has almost quadrupled.
Attractions
The Altendorf plague cross is one of the most famous buildings in Altendorf. The meat consecration takes place here every year at Easter. Every year on May 1st there is a procession starting from the plague cross to the parish church of St. Michael .
