The historical building is near the cemetery of the community below the Funkenberg and has the address Am alten Pfarrhof 8. It is built in half-timbered construction and has a loft above the ground floor and first floor . The structure is geosted in its longitudinal axis . During the tenure of Abbot Gerwig Blarer , the rectory was renovated and lavishly furnished in 1550.
During the Thirty Years' War, soldiers killed the clergyman Johann Martin Hermanuz in the old rectory.
After the reconstruction of the parish church of St. Martin in 1702, the new rectory was built near the church in 1710, renovated in the 20th century and sold to private customers from the church's assets.
