The old Protestant cemetery Langerfeld was built in 1785 on the eastern edge of what was then the village of Langerfeld , now part of Wuppertal .
history
The cemetery of the Protestants at the Odoakerstraße was expanded in 1849 and 1869 and the pending investment of the cemetery Kohlenstraße used 1885th
There were gates on both sides that gave access to the cemetery. The northern sandstone pillars are still preserved. According to the decision of the Düsseldorf Administrative Court on November 4, 1988, the cemetery as a whole was removed from the list of monuments of the city of Wuppertal. Individual grave sites or tombs have been preserved and added to the list of monuments on May 15, 2001 as eight individual monuments .
