Old Customs House (Kaiserswerth)
The old customs house in Kaiserswerth , a district of Düsseldorf , was built in 1635. The building at Markt 4 is a protected architectural monument .
description
The customs house is located directly at the old ferry station next to the former Rhine gate. The ground floor and the back of the stately house have been greatly changed. Two tail gables of different sizes structure the street front. The customs officer checked the ship traffic on the Rhine from the tower room in the rear staircase.
