Altrhede was a municipality in the old district of Borken in North Rhine-Westphalia , whose area today belongs to the town of Rhede in the district of Borken .

history
Altrhede was originally an old Westphalian peasantry that encompassed the rural surroundings of the church village Rhede. Since the 19th century Altrhede formed a rural community in the office of Rhede of the district of Borken. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the development of Rhede expanded to the area of Altrhede, so that Altrhede was incorporated into Rhede on April 1, 1955.
