Die Aluminum (spelling: ALUMINUM , subtitle: Weltmesse & Kongress ) is the one trade fair for the aluminum industry and takes place every two years on the grounds of Messe Düsseldorf . It is organized by Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH.

ALUMINUM takes place every two years at Messe Düsseldorf , Germany. On around 78,000 m², around 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries provide an overview of the global aluminum industry for three days.

The aluminum fair is a meeting point for aluminum manufacturers, processors, providers of technologies and equipment for production, processing and refinement. The fair is the world's leading B2B platform for the aluminum industry and its most important areas of application. The value chain from raw materials to semi-finished products and finished products to machines, systems, accessories and surface treatment is shown.

history

Aluminum was founded in 1997.

The move from Essen to Düsseldorf, which took place from 2010 to 2012, brought around four percent more exhibitors, 20 percent more space and a 23 percent increase in the number of visitors.

2016

The aluminum (11th World Fair & Congress) took place from November 29th to December 1st, 2016 on 78,000 m² (gross area). The organizers expected 1,000 exhibitors and 27,000 visitors. The five main topics (metal working and processing / joining technology / automation, furnace construction / casting / heat treatment, primary production / recycling, surface treatment and semi-finished products) were spread over 6 halls. Speakers from industry and science could be won for the ALUMINUM FORUM lecture series , including Josef Feikus. The European Aluminum Award was presented for the 10th time.

2018

Aluminum (12th World Fair & Congress) took place from October 9th to 11th, 2018.
