Alvensleben Jellinek Medal of Honor

The Alvensleben-Jellinek-Ehrensmedaille is an Austrian award for people who have made a contribution to improving the safety of electricity use . It was donated in 1997 by Gottfried Biegelmeier , the inventor of the residual current circuit breaker . Biegelmaier dedicated it to the German Conrad Alvensleben and the Austrian physician Stefan Jellinek , who also did a great job on this topic.

The medal is awarded every two to three years by the non-profit private foundation for electrical protection (ESF).
