Alvydas Šlepikas

Alvydas Šlepikas (born January 27, 1966 in Videniškiai , Molėtai Rajong municipality , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian actor and writer.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1984, Alvydas Šlepikas attended a technical school and did his military service. He studied acting and directing in Vilnius at the Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy .

Šlepikas works in Vilnius as an actor and theater director and writes for the magazine “Literatūra ir menas”. Šlepikas has been a member of the Lithuanian Writers' Union since 1998. In 2006 he worked in the role of Herman Kruk on the film version of Ghetto .

Šlepikas translated his novel about the wolf children in 2015 and a volume of short stories in 2017.
