Alvydas Katinas

Alvydas Katinas (born January 29, 1960 in Utena ) is a Lithuanian politician.

biography

After graduating from secondary school in Utena in 1978 , he graduated from the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas in 1982 and became a teacher . From 1982 to 1987 he worked in the Leliūnai Middle School . From 2001 to 2003 he was Deputy Mayor of Utena . Since 2003 he has been the mayor of the Rajongemeinde. In March 2015, he was elected mayor in the direct elections of Lithuanian mayors with a majority of 65.86% in the first ballot.
