Alwin J. Kolb
Alwin Johann Kolb is a German entrepreneur.
Career
Kolb was born as the son of the entrepreneur Hans Kolb. His father founded the Hans Kolb Wellpappe company in Memmingen in 1933 . After taking over the management, Alwin J. Kolb developed the company into one of the leaders in the corrugated board packaging industry in southern Germany with around 850 employees.
From 1987 to 1998 he was Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Augsburg and Swabia and was one of the five founding partners of Allgäu Airport . From 1972 to 1990 he was a member of the municipal council of Buxheim .
