Alyssa Longo (born October 14, 1991 in Littleton , Colorado ) is a former American volleyball player .
Career
The 1.68 m tall acceptance and defense specialist studied at the universities of Hawaii and Pennsylvania States . Longo learned her volleyball skills and athletic qualities as a libera from Dave Shoji , a US coaching luminary and father of the two Shoji brothers who acted as libero and player for the Berlin Recycling Volleys . In 2016 she finished her social pedagogy studies and moved to the German Bundesliga for 1. VC Wiesbaden in August . In October 2016, Longo was appointed captain by the team, succeeding Esther van Berkel . In 2017 she ended her volleyball career.
