The Alzek Nunatak ( Bulgarian нунатак Алцек nunatak Alzek ) is a rocky and 170 m high nunatak on Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 700 m southeast of Lloyd Hill , 940 m east of Kotrag Nunatak and 1.65 km west to north of Tile Ridge from the Murgasch Glacier .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named him in 2005 after Alzek , a proto-Bulgarian Khan of the 7th century in Italy .
