Amédée Borsari

Amédée Borsari (born December 23, 1905 in Paris , † June 21, 1999 in Eaubonne ) was a French composer .

Life

Amedée Borsari studied piano with Georges Falkenberg and harmony with Charles Silver at the Paris Conservatory . Later he was a student of Vincent d'Indy at the Schola Cantorum . In 1947 he was one of the founders of Group Eurhythmie , along with José David , Émile Damais and Jean Rollin , which was the subject of an exhibition in the Bibliothèque Nationale in 1951 and played an important role in the music history of France in the 1950s.

Borsari composed a. a. Instrumental concerts, chamber music, vocal music and stage works.
