The half-timbered residential building Am Markt 8 is in the Liedberg district in Korschenbroich in the Rhine district of Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The building was built in the 18th century and entered the list of architectural monuments in Korschenbroich under no. 117 on June 4, 1987 .

The monument "Am Markt 8" used to form the former mayor's office of the former community of Liedberg together with the building " Am Markt 6 ", which is now used separately . The two- storey half-timbered building with eaves dates from the 18th century; the formerly existing gate is now closed and has been expanded with half-timbering. The building “Am Markt 8” was a memorial as part of the listed ensemble of the old historical market . Liedberg and in particular the old market that still existed are of local significance for the history of the town of Korschenbroich.
