Am Pastorat 8 (Mönchengladbach)
The half-timbered house Am Pastorat 8 is in the Wickrathberg district of the city of Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It was built in 1782. The house was entered under No. A 016 on October 14, 1986 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

Two - storey half-timbered eaves house of 8: 4 compartments with a crooked hip roof and walled-in gate passage on the left-hand side in Wickrathberg, inscription dated 1782. The associated courtyard buildings have all been renewed in brick.
Residential part of five compartments with symmetrical panel layout : Downstairs center door with subsequently vorgemauertem garb continued flanking originally double-leaf rectangular window on a massive renewed parapet wall in the area of the gate entrance; Small-format window openings on the upper floor, drawn together in pairs at the sides, via braces inclined towards the center . The limited to a width of two compartments door opening even read, above the inward-outward Torbalkens strut pair including subsequently retracted floor latch. The half-timbered structure on the back, which corresponds to the larger passage width, is largely intact, but the windows have been changed irregularly, the original double door with a two-part skylight , next to it a subsequent external access to the cellar vault.
The gable walls are not windowed except for the storage hatches, instead of the intermediate posts inclined struts; the north gable on the ground floor has been massively renewed, and between the south gable and the neighboring building there is a modern single-storey extension with a roof terrace. On the street front, single-leaf plastic lattice windows, wooden frame frames, shutters . Narrow front garden with two remaining trees from a pruned row of trees.
