Am Pixbusch 4 (Mönchengladbach)
The Villa Am Pixbusch 4 is located in the Odenkirchen district of the city of Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It was built around 1800. The house was entered under No. A 012 on September 24, 1985 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
It is a eineinhalbgeschossige garden villa made of exposed brick , high geböschtem cellar base and slightly overhanging jamb from truss on Odenkirchener city forest. Steep, protruding saddle roof , hipped on one side to the northwest. On the eaves side facing downwards, a two-axis risalit porch , asymmetrically shifted to the left , attached gable of the same ridge height , next to it on the right a veranda on a brick substructure with a roofing wooden structure, also spanning the south-eastern gable front at an angle . On the left, the narrow entrance yoke, slightly drawn forward from the window wall behind the veranda, with a difference staircase in front. Basement with plastered plinth and surrounding cornice, arched covered openings of different sizes.
On the ground floor also arched windows accentuated by corner stones made of yellow-colored clinker brick . In addition, sparingly used stucco elements on the risalit , the windows here, like the entrance door, in framing panels. Knee floor with brick infill, cross-shaped or diamond-shaped bracing members, large, three-way divided gable window. Characteristic features of the building are the protruding, richly decorated floating gables : buttress , openwork, semicircular organized paneling. The rear 5-axis with side window panels, non-windowed north-west side.
The roof space is illuminated by dormers with a saddle roof drawn far down and a simplified floating gable construction, arched windows. The front door and patio door are original, wooden windows in the old wing division, but without the lattice structure at the front.
