The Amami Islands National Park ( Japanese 奄 美 群島 国立 公園 , Amami Guntō Kokuritsu Kōen ) is a Japanese national park in the southernmost part of Kagoshima Prefecture . The park was named the 34th national park on March 7, 2017.

The national park covers a land area of 42,181 ha and a water area of 33,082 ha. The area is spread over and around the islands of Tokunoshima , Kikajima , Amami-Ōshima , Yoron Island and the Okinoerabu Islands .
