Amancio Alcorta (politician)

Amancio Alcorta (born May 27, 1842 in Buenos Aires ; † May 5, 1902 there ) was an Argentine politician and legal scholar.

Alcorta studied law at the University of Buenos Aires. He was a member of the Chamber of Deputies and Foreign Minister under Presidents José Evaristo Uriburu and Julio Argentino Roca . He was also professor of international law at the University of Buenos Aires. In 1878 he published the three-volume Tratado de Derecho Internacional Público .
