Amanda Brown (badminton)

Amanda Brown (born December 21, 1991 in Hamilton ) is a New Zealand badminton player .

Career

Amanda Brown started the sport of badminton at the age of nine. In 2009 she started at the Badminton Junior World Championships. In 2010 she won the women's singles title at the national championships and the Wisden Cup . In the same year she finished third at the Canterbury International 2010 . The following year she finished second at the Altona International 2011 . She came second at the Auckland International 2012 , third at the Tahiti International 2012 and second at the Tahiti International 2013 . In 2013 she took part in the Badminton World Championships.
