supporting documents
Amanistabara-qo is mainly known from its pyramid Nu 2 in Nuri . A gold cylinder was found here, as it was also found in the grave of the Aspelta , as well as a gold sheet in relief, which shows the ruler in front of the falcon-headed Re . A large stele of the ruler (now in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts) was found in a Christian church in Nuri , which was used as building material here in Christian times. It may originally come from his pyramid chapel. The long text on the stele is religious and therefore provides almost no historical information. The ruler is also mentioned on votive offerings from Meroe .
