Amarna letter EA 288, from Abdi-Hepa ṭ the king of Jerusalem .

Amarna letter EA 244 is a letter from Biridija , king of Megiddo, to the Pharaoh . It is written in Akkadian cuneiform on a clay tablet and is one of the Amarna letters from the palace archives of Pharaoh Akhenaten . This was located in the newly founded capital Achet-Aton ("Horizon of Aton"), today's Tell el-Amarna . Today the plaque is in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo , inventory number CM 04768 (12200).
