The string orchestra Amati Ensemble Munich was founded in Munich in 1990 and has been led by the conductor Jan Pogány since 2012 , who has worked as a conductor , concert cellist and composer after studying at the Munich University of Music . Over 30 orchestral musicians play high- profile concerts as well as the string and chamber orchestra core repertoire on national and international stages . The orchestra has performed on major stages and events across Europe and has made recordings for film, television and multiple CDs.
