Ambrose Rocks

The Ambrose Rocks are a small group of reef rocks off the west coast of West Antarctic Graham Land . They are located southwest of the southern Argentine Islands and 1.5 km northwest of the Gaunt Rocks .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after David Anthony Ambrose (* 1946), surveyor assistant for the hydrographic unit on board the British research vessel HMS Endurance when exploring this area in February 1969.
