Ambrosius Rappert
Ambrosius Rappert , also Ambrosius Rappart . Born as Bernhard Anton Rappert (born December 28, 1695 in Dorsten ; † November 19, 1767 in Liesborn ) was a German clergyman and abbot of the Liesborn monastery.
Life
Ambrosius Rappert or Rappart, secular Bernhard Anton Rappert, entered the Liesborn monastery in 1717 , professed in 1718 and became a priest in 1722. On May 24, 1734 he was appointed confessor in St. Aegidii in Münster and worked in the same position in the Überwasser monastery . During his term of office, the Seven Years' War fell , which caused the monastery considerable material losses.
