The American Journal of Archeology ( AJA for short ) is the journal of the Archaeological Institute of America .
Since its inception in 1897 - in continuation of the American Journal of Archeology and of the History of the Fine Arts , published since 1885 - the AJA has published articles on the archeology of the Middle East , classical archeology and various other archeological disciplines.
The editor is currently Naomi Norman , Professor at the University of Georgia , USA.
