Amphidamas (Kythera)
Amphidamas ( Greek Ἀμφιδάμας ) is a figure in Greek mythology .
Amphidamas came from Skandeia on Kythera and was the guest of the Cretan Molos . As a gift he gave him the boar-tooth helmet of Amyntor , which he had captured from Autolykos and which he himself had received from Autolykos. It was with this helmet that Molos' son Meriones went to the Trojan War , during which he gave the helmet to Odysseus as a gift.
