Kempen District Court
Kempen is the seat of the Kempen District Court , which is responsible for the city of Kempen and the communities of Grefrath and Tönisvorst in the eastern district of Viersen . Around 82,000 people live in the 144 km² judicial district . The Kempen District Court is also responsible for agricultural matters in the Kempen, Krefeld and Nettetal District Court districts.

The regional court above the Kempen District Court is the Krefeld Regional Court , which in turn is subordinate to the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court .
