District Bailiwick of Emsbüren
The Amtsvogtei Emsbüren was a historical administrative area of the Kingdom of Hanover .
history
The area goes back to the district of Emsbüren, which was made up of the former Münster parishes of Salzbergen , Emsbüren and Schepsdorf , which belonged to the Principality of Rheina-Wolbeck from 1803 to 1806 , then to the Empire of France and fell to the Kingdom of Hanover at the Congress of Vienna in 1815. In 1821 the designation Amtsvogtei was introduced. After the lordship of the Duke of Looz-Corswarem had expired , it was assigned to the Landdrostei Osnabrück in 1824 and incorporated into the Lower County of Lingen on October 1, 1826 .
