Amy (Missouri)

Amy is an unincorporated community in the south of the state of Missouri of the United States . It is located approximately 12 miles southwest of the administrative seat of Howell County , from West Plains , at an elevation of 361 m above sea level.

Amy was named after Amy Black, the daughter of a postal worker. The local post office was established in 1891 and operated until 1931.
