Life
In addition to small roles in movies, Parsons mainly played in television productions. These include the television films Desperate Lives from 1982 and This Child Belongs to Me from 1985 as well as numerous appearances in television series, for example in King's Crossing (1982), An Angel on Earth (1986-1987), Throb (1987), Equal Justice ( 1990–1991), murder is her hobby (1993, 1996) and Philly (2001). In 1984 she starred in the multi- Tony Award nominee performance of the musical Quilters at the Jack Lawrence Theater on Broadway .
