Beatty's boss is Zach Armstrong ( Jonathan Prince ), who looks like Michael J. Fox but dresses like Don Johnson . Beatty also has a 12 year old son named Jeremy (played first by Paul Walker and later by Sean de Veritch ). During season two, Sandy moves from her previous apartment to a recently vacated penthouse in her home . She lets her colleague Blue move in with her so that she can contribute to the rent. The differences of opinion between the prudish Sandy and the more revealing Blue now come to the fore because they live and work together.
