Amy Alsop
Amy Alsop (born June 30, 1978 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian goalball player .
Alsop began playing goalball in 1994 and won five national championships with her team. In 1997 she joined the Canadian women's national goalball team. At the Paralympic Games in 2000 and 2004 , she was able to win gold with her team. The 2000 gold medal was the first for Canada in the sport. In 2008 in Beijing , however, they failed to make it into the finals.
Alsop currently lives in Regina , Saskatchewan and works as a market analyst for a telecommunications company.
