Anželika Cholina (born July 30, 1970 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian choreographer .

Life

From 1976 to 1981 Anželika Cholina attended dance classes with "Liepsnelė" (director Lidija Motiejūnaitė) in the Vilnius Trade Union Palace of Culture. In 1989 she graduated from the Vilnius Ballet School with A. Nasvytienė and in 1996 she studied at the Russian Academy of Theater Arts in Moscow (GITIS). She became a director - ballet master . From 1998 she taught at the Lietuvos muzikos ir teatro akademija in Vilnius. Since 2000 she has been an art director of her own dance theater ( Anželikos Cholinos šokio teatras ) specializing in contemporary dance . She has been working with the Vakhtangov Theater since 2008 and with the Bolshoi Theater since 2016 . Her collaborator is director Rimas Tuminas (opera " Katerina Ismailowa ").
