At the Linde 5 (Rothhausen)
The property with courtyard gate in An der Linde 5 in Rothhausen, a district of the Bavarian municipality of Thundorf in Lower Franconia in the Bad Kissingen district is one of the Thundorf architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under number D-6-72-157-26.
history
The farmhouse is a two-storey, gable-free half-timbered building with a solid ground floor and a gable roof. According to the name on the walls of a door arch in the cellar of the house, it was built in 1734. The builder is unknown. However, since the property was owned by the Hans Heurich or Heurig family from 1680 to 1760, this Hans Heurich is probably also the builder of the house.
According to the tradition of the Rothhausen village teacher Brehm from the 1930s, the farmhouse once belonged to the "Lipsenhof" (Philippshof, allegedly built by Veit Ulrich von Schaumberg as early as 1566 ). According to the notes of village teacher Brehm, the property was divided into numbers 34, 35 and 36 around 1700.
In 1919 the roof structure was completely renewed . Tilting single pane windows were installed and the folding shutters removed around 1960 . The year "1967" on the top of the gable reminds of the complete interior and exterior renovation of the house that took place that year. In 1970 the framework on the ground floor was plastered.
The farmhouse has a courtyard gate, which, according to the name, was built by Caspar Schüler in 1827. The gate consists of three pylons made of sandstone , all of which have rosettes . The two pylons adjacent to the gate are fitted with wheel deflectors . On the crossbar of the gate there is a cantilevered, stepped cover plate as well as decorations in the form of foliage, tulips, garlands and a keystone.
