Ana Ott is an independent label from Mülheim an der Ruhr . The label is mainly involved in avant-garde music , free improvisation and krautrock . The publications appear exclusively on cassette , vinyl and digital. CDs are not offered.
Concert series
Ana Ott organizes a long-term concert series as the core of the label's work. Its aim is to bring together artists from the region who are keen to experiment with international colleagues and promote an exchange. One to two concerts per month take place in the Mülheim art and technology center Makroscope . The Ottfest label festival also takes place once a year . For the first time in 2015, the Platzhirsch Festival in Duisburg dedicated its own stage to the label.
