Anastasia Markovych
Anastasija Wiktoriwna Markowytsch ( Ukrainian Анастасія Вікторівна Маркович , born October 23, 1979 in Brichany , Moldova ) is a Ukrainian painter of surrealism .
She comes from a family of artists. She is the daughter of Viktor and Irena Markowytsch and the older sister of Yuri Markowytsch. Her father and brother are painters, her mother a designer.
She came with her family from Moldova to the southwestern Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi .
While attending a middle school, Anastasija studied painting at the Chernivtsi Art School from 1990, which she successfully completed in 1994. After graduating from high school in 1996, she studied law at the local law and economics academy specializing in criminology, civil rights and commercial law.
After graduation, she went on study trips to Poland , Germany , the Netherlands , Belgium and France . The visit in 2003 to the Polish artists Dariusz Miliński (* 1957) and Tomasz Sętowski (* 1961) was particularly important. The cultural tradition of the university town of Chernivtsi also contributed to the development of her artistic talent.
Anastasija Markowytsch participated in many art exhibitions at home and abroad. She also published a richly illustrated book " Світ Левкасу " (Swit Lewkasu - The World of Lewkas) and shows her works in magazines.
