Anatomia, Histologia, Embryologia , abbreviated Anat. Histol. Embryol. , is a scientific journal published by Wiley-Blackwell- Verlag on behalf of the World Association of Veterinary Atomic Scientists . The magazine emerged from the Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin that was founded in 1953. In 1963 there was a split into three series, the Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin, series AC . The Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin, Series C was renamed Anatomia, Histologia, Embryologia in 1972; the volume count for this journal begins in 1972. The journal is currently published six times a year. Papers are published that deal with descriptive, applied and clinical issues from anatomy, embryology and histology.
